The sculpture titled “Meander” is fabricated from stainless steel and features a polished sphere as a key design element, along with being a signature feature of my sculptures. The finish on the stainless steel reflects the shimmering of the water in a waterway and the straight lines represent the flow of the water, whilst the sphere serves as a vibrant focal point, adding contrast and visual interest.
The meandering form might mimic the curves of a river or pathway, while the sphere could symbolize another element in the waterway. The interaction between the organic flow of the sculpture and the geometric simplicity of the sphere might reflect the balance between nature and human made structures.
