Pat Flanagan, a 30-year-old artist and creator based in Brunswick West, originally from Yarrawonga, which is situated on the Murray River. My journey into the world of steel sculpture has been a 12-year odyssey, but it's since 2022 that I've truly committed to bringing my visions to life and sharing them with the world. For over a decade, I've worn the hat of a fitter and turner, refining my technical skills. Yet, as I spent my days in that world, I couldn't ignore the yearning for something more, something that resonated with my true passion. This realisation prompted a shift, and I embarked on the path of turning my artistic aspirations into a tangible reality. Nestled in my workshop in Brunswick West, I now channel my creativity into blending sculpture with fabrication, especially finding joy and fulfilment in crafting bespoke sculptures for events and gardens. This endeavour allows me to create unique, meaningful pieces that celebrate moments and bring visions to life, reflecting my love for transforming spaces into immersive experiences.
